Description
The Ugears Differential Model Kit is a fascinating mechanical model that replicates a key component of real-life vehicles. A differential ensures smooth cornering by allowing the inside and outside wheels-mounted on the same axle-to rotate at different speeds. This mechanism prevents wheel skidding, reduces tire wear, and eliminates dragging during turns.
With this hands-on model, you can observe how the differential works. Once assembled, push the lever to position 1 (up) to unlock the mechanism. Rotate the drive gear to set both wheels in motion. The control lever also allows you to independently lock the left or right wheel by turning the lever in the respective direction.
When the lever is in the “down” position, both wheels are connected via a rigid coupling. In this mode, they rotate together when driven or lock simultaneously when held by the lever.
Perfect for STEM learning and mechanical enthusiasts, this model offers both educational value and engaging fun.
